So the Reading Rush is over, and I wanted to share with you what I did over the week.

On the first day, I didn’t read a lot. I just ended up reading the shortest book on my TBR, the Saga of Gunnlaug Serpent-tongue. I thought that it was quite good but did end up feeling like the entire plot could have been avoided, if the men in the story asked Hilda her opinion instead of treating her as a prize.

On the third day of the Reading Rush I went to the park with my friends and read the Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan. I thoroughly enjoyed the series, but again hoped that I would have finished it before the Reading Rush, so It didn’t make it onto my TBR. I also started the Northern Lights by Philip Pullman.

On the fourth day, I finished the Northern Lights, listening to the audiobook as I ran errands.

On the fifth day of the Reading Rush I read The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan, flicking between the audiobook and my physical copy depending on how much time I had.

On the sixth day, I read the Hammer of Thor and started the Ship of the Dead. The Hammer of Thor ended up being read entirely on audiobook and I didn’t open up my physical copy at all. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the audiobook for the Ship of the Dead from my library so I read the entire book in its physical form.

On the final day of the Reading Rush, I finished the Ship of the Dead and started Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, though I didn’t have time to finish it. I’m still reading it now.

VERY GOOD
