I’M BACK! For those who did not see on my twitter (go follow me), I took last month of from blogging to focus on my exams (got getta those grades y’all), but I am back, with a plan! Since I didn’t stop reading during exam season, I have lots of books to tell you about. I also have nothing to do apart from read, so there will me even more books (seriously I’m reviewed up until September already!).
Now that that is over and done with, let’s get on with what you came here to see, my July TBR. This month, it is quite long, as I have nothing else to do, and YALC is fast approaching. Hopefully, I will be able read most of them by the end of the month. There will also be some mystery books that I will be talking about in my book haul tomorrow (follow me so that you don’t miss it)
Mystery Book 1
Straight out of the gate, is a mystery book that I will be talking about it tomorrow, but here is a blurred cover, so that you know which one I am talking about, and also to see if you can guess the title from the cover.
Show Stopper by Hayley Barker
I was so excited to get this book at YALC last year, and can’t believe that I haven’t gotten to it yet. So I am prioritising it this month.
Show Stealer by Hayley Barker
This is the second installment in the aforementioned duology, so of course I will also be reading it this month too.
The Dark Queen by Josephine Boyce
I’ll be honest with you, I’m not too sure about this book anymore. I got this book in the heat of the moment, but think I should give it a whirl.
Twelve Kings by Bradley P. Beaulieu
I love the premise of this book, and did pick it up a few months ago. However, I did find it a bit hard to read in the build up to exams, so set it aside. I am hoping that now I have nothing else on my mind, I can focus on this book and really get into it.
The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli
I’ve been wanting to read this book for a while, but thought that I should wait for the series to be finished first. However the author is going to be at YALC this year, so I thought I should read it now.
Mystery Book 2
The next three books, are also from my book haul, but this one has been featured on my blog before as part of a Sampler Saturday and I am very excited to now have a finished copy.
Mystery Book 3
If no one can work out what book this is from the colours on the cover, after the hype it has received, I will be severely disappointed.
Mystery Book 4
This is the last book from my haul that I will be reading this month. It is a short YA Fantasy book that I have heard good things about, and sounds amazing.
Legends of the Exiles by Jesse Teller
I received this book for free from Reads & Reels in return for an honest review. I (obviously) haven’t read it yet, but think that it will be good as it has not one but four strong female protagonists in a fantasy setting.
