As I continue my research into minimalism, I decided to read another one of the minimalist’s books, this one is a how to, where as the first one (read the review here) is a why to.
Synopsis
Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life is our finest, most important creation to date. It’s also the best thing we’ve ever written about Minimalism and will likely serve as the cornerstone to our work for years to come. It took us a year to write this book—a year of creating the best material possible and finding ways to relate it back to our lives so you would have practical ways to relate the subject matter to your life.
Review
This book is not the most enjoyable read, and that is why it is so good. As a call to action, this book is quick and easy and straight to the point, so that it makes you think about what you can do to make your life better. I liked the fact that it was written in away that makes it easy to put down and implement the ideas given rather than something that keeps you gripped so that you can’t improve your life.
Happiness is merely a byproduct.
