Do you prefer e-book or physical books?
Personally I prefer reading e-books as I don’t have to worry about damaging the book, but I love the look of physical books on my shelves, feel in my hands and how the smell. So both, for different reasons.
Do you prefer paperback or hardback?
Paperbacks, as they are cheaper, lighter and smaller so I can fit more of them on my shelf. Though I do love a well designed hardcover.
Do you prefer in-store or online shopping?
In Store as I get to leave with the book there and then. I wish that there were more independent bookshops where I live, but unfortunately I am stuck with the big chains.
Do you prefer trilogies or series?
Tilogies as they give me the excitement of a series without being too long, so if I am re-reading them it doesn’t take too long.
Do you prefer heroes or villains?
I prefer competent heroes who actually impact the story as opposed to those who just sit around as things happen. I also prefer my villains to have backstories that make sense. However best of all is book with no clearly defined heroes or villains like in A Song of Ice and Fire.
What is a book I want everyone to read?

What is one underrated book you would recommend?
The Ink Trilogy by Alice Broadway is amazing and I haven’t seen nearly enough people talking about it in my feeds.

Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life by Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus

Used books, yes or no?
Yes. I work in a charity shop for this reason.
What is your top 3 favourite genres?
- Fantasy
- Dystopia
- Sci-Fi
Borrow or buy?
Buy, I need access to them at all times, you never know which book you just have to read next!
Characters or plot?
Plot, if I wanted an insight into the lives of people I barely know, I’d watch day time TV.
Long or short books?
Medium, 300-600 pages is the best for me, though I do read longer and shorter books than this.
Long or short chapters?
Middle, I don’t like books with chapters every other page but don’t like it when the chapters are too long. 15-20 pages is great for me.
First 3 books that you think of.

Whatever I am currently reading.
A book that made you laugh or cry.

Our world or the fictional world?
Fictional, is this even question?
Audiobooks, yes or no?
Yes, they help me focus when studying.
Have you ever judged a book by its cover?
I bought the Mortal Engines quartet because I liked the covers so much, and barely made it through the first book. I’m keeping them though, I love those covers!
Book to Movie or Book to TV adaptation?
If it’s a standalone, book to movie, if it’s a series book to TV.
A movie or TV Adaption I prefer to the books?
The Mortal Engines film was great, the books, not so much.
