City of Fallen Angels Review

We return to the modern day, and to a disappointing book. If there is a plot in this book, it has escaped my notice. Nothing much happens apart from wedding planning for 75% of this book, and honestly, I don’t care much about that. In truth, the whole point of this book is to create a premise for the rest of the series.

I did think that the character development between the different sets of couples was practically non-existent apart from Alec and Magnus. They were quite sweet together and actually seem to have something real in their relationship, everyone else felt very annoying.

Overall I feel that this book was quite terrible and nearly put me off the rest of the series.
