It’s the Biannual Bibliothon, and I am so excited. Today’s blogger challenge (hosted by Evil Queen Books) is to list my top three holiday spots, so here we go.
Three:
The Norfolk Broads have been the backdrop to many of my childhood holidays. A gentle and quiet area which is perfect for curling up with a good book or five.
Two:
Old Carcassone is a busy picturesque city in the south of France. Steeped in history, it has a sense of life in it that I have never seen in a place so old. As the inspiration for the art on one of my favourite tile games (Carcassone), I had to go and check it out.
One:
Mdina is another beautiful old walled city, but this is in the centre of Malta. It has a sea view in every direction and a wonderful atmosphere. I have been known to take a book and spend the entire afternoon lounging in the shade of a tree in this heavenly city.
